Course Objective:
This 40 hour program uses an intensive instructional methodology program to prepare the participant for planning and developing all aspects of course curriculum. The course also includes needs analysis, task analysis, course goals and objectives, lesson plan development, instructional support materials and evaluation instruments.

Instruction Methods:
Methods of instruction include lecture, discussion, virtual classroom exercises, case studies, audio/visual material, learner presentations/reports, quizzes, final written and practical examination for Oregon Fire Service Members Only.
Course Materials:
Includes handouts, quizzes, class projects, discussion & final IFSAC testing.
You will need to purchase and have with you to class the following reading materials.

Step 1 – Download to your computer the NFPA Candidate Application Form. To open the Candidate Application Form your computer must have a PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader DC – Free Version.
Step 2 – At the top of the application form click on ‘Add text’ and move the ‘Add text’ symbol to the Candidate Signature Line. Type the following, “Your Full Name – electronic signature” Ex: John Smith – electronic signature
