Course Objective:
Major topics covered include risk management principles, environmental and physiological hazards, building construction and utility hazards, recognizing critical incident stress, reading smoke, fire development hazards, incident communications, conducting a scene survey, vehicle incident management, incident operations, helicopter landing zones, accident investigation, commercial fire hazards, hazardous materials, technical rescue incidents, and mass casualty incidents.

Instruction Methods:
Methods of instruction include lecture, discussion, virtual classroom exercises, case studies, Microsoft Teams audio/visual material and learner presentations/reports, quizzes.

Includes handouts, quizzes, class projects and discussion.

Please complete ALL FOUR STEPS of the Registration Instructions in sequential order.
Step 1 – Download to your computer the IFSAC/Pro Board Candidate Application Form. To open the Candidate Application Form your computer must have a PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader DC – Free Version.
Step 2 – At the top of the application form click on ‘Add text’ and move the ‘Add text’ symbol to the Candidate Signature Line. Type the following, “Your Full Name – electronic signature” Ex: John Smith – electronic signature
Step 3 – Email completed application form to leslie@fowlerfire.com by October 6, 2023. Course withdrawal must occur before October 6, 2023 or student will be charged the entire cost of the course.

Prerequisites: Fire Officer 1 or Rope Rescue 1 or Rope Rescue 2 (Pro Board or IFSAC)
