ANNOUNCE


IFSAC Firefighter II


This 40-hour course is the second level of standards-based certification available to firefighters. Course materials provide additional information on topics included in the Firefighter I program and allows the firefighter to participate in certification testing to obtain Firefighter II certification based on NFPA 1001, 2008 edition. Firefighter II topics include: Incident Command Systems, Firefighter I, Prevention/Public Education, Vehicle Rescue, and Fire Cause.


Upon successful completion of the certification test, the student will be certified as Firefighter II, in compliance with NFPA 1001. (NFPA 1001: Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications)


Methods of instruction include; lecture, discussion, classroom exercises, case studies, audio/visual material, learner presentations/reports, quizzes, final IFSAC written examination, and Practical examination.


Dates: February 16-17 and 23-24, 2019 | March 9 is Test Day

Time: 0800 – 1700 each day

Required Text: IFSTA Essentials of Firefighting 6th Edition STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY

Pre-Requisites: IFSAC Firefighter I and HazMat Operations certifications

Tuition: $525 / Student

Class Size: 10 students minimum, 25 students maximum

Certification: Successful completion will result in FFII IFSAC Certification from the Washington State Fire Marshal.

NO-SHOWS AND WITHDRAWLS WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE CLASS CONVEINING DATE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT.
